Yo, it’s Matthew here, and I’ve got a funny story for y’all about weight distribution hitches. So I was on a camping trip with my buddies, and we had our trusty old RV all loaded up and ready to hit the road.

We had a weight distribution hitch on the back, but I ain’t no expert on them things, so I didn’t really pay it much attention.

We get on the highway, and everything’s going great for a little bit. But then we start noticing that the back of the RV is kinda swaying all over the place.

I’m thinking maybe it’s just the wind or something, but then we see that the weight distribution hitch is dragging on the ground!

Turns out, I had cranked that sucker down way too tight, and it was putting way too much pressure on the back of the RV. We had to pull over, loosen it up a bit, and then we were good to go.

So, lesson learned: you can definitely have too much weight distribution hitch!
